The CLAO/Eye and Contact Lens Educational Summit is an update for clinicians on advances in contact lenses. This year's topics will include:Therapeutic Contact Lenses, and Presbyopia and Advanced Optics. The Summit will be followed by a free Eye & Contact Lens Symposium on Contact Lens Discomfort and How to Manage it.
The Summit will feature faculty leaders from the ophthalmology, optometry, contact lens fitting and research internationally and in the US and will be followed by the Eye & Contact Lens Symposium entitled "Contact Lens Discomfort, Can't Get No Satisfaction!".  The day will wrap-up with a networking reception.
 
The morning will explore updates on therapeutic soft contact lenses, medical management of Ocular Surface Disease, PROSE Lens, and contact lenses with amniotic membrane.  It will feature the Oliver H. Dabezies, Jr. MD Lecture entitled "The Ocular Microbiome" by Russell N. Van Gelder MD PhD. and include updates from around the world.
 
In the afternoon topics will focus on Presbyopia and advanced optics; CL options for the presbyope; and surgical options for tackling Presbyopia. This will be highlighted by the Harold A. Stein, MD Lecture entitled "Contact Lens Associated Infection" by Suzanne M.J. Fleiszig OD, PhD
 
The Eye & Contact Lens Symposium, "Contact Lens Discomfort, Can't Get No Satisfaction!" will begin immediately following the CLAO Summit. By registering for the Summit you will be automatically registered for this special symposium.
